Wow. It's been over a year since I last posted something up here.

A lot has changed. I've moved to TN (May be moving back to NY soon) and have changed hair colours at least 3-4 times since my last post.

I don't really do pictures anymore. Not because I don't want to, but because I'm so damn exhausted when I come home from work these days.

I thank everyone for their continued support and usage of my stock. I'm hoping there will be more to come.

Update from Melly world. Been pretty busy and pretty tired. Most weekends are spent with Karras, as you all know, so I dont get much time to sit down and type stuff out. 2 weeks ago my parents ran off to Maine for a week to visit my memere. She was in the hospital for some blacking out problems. She's okay now, but they still dont know why she blacked out. My mom doesnt think she's right in the head eaither.

As far as work goes, pretty honkydorey in that respect. Much busier now that Steph, the vet asst, is gone. Now I'm having to do most of her jobs.. which means doing dishes, feeding, walking dogs, etc etc. Pretty rough to do that and my own job. But I really have no choice. This weekend though, my male boss Mr. Reppert, had a heart attack. So he's down at a hospital in the capital to get treatment. Dr. Reppert was pretty hectic and on edge today. No doubt she's worried. I called and asked how he was doing. They had put a couple of shunts in and he's doing well now. I hope he gets better, even though he can be a bit annoying, he's still a decent man. So that's whats what about work.

Me. Well I've been better. I've been sick for about 5 weeks, maybe less. I've been to the doctor a few times, given antibiotics and told to rest and take OTC meds. I didnt get better.. I got worse. This past friday, I was barely able to speak.. breath.. anything. My lymph nodes had been swelling up all week and the week before. But I thought it was just stress. So I decided to call into work and go to the doctor on Friday. He wasnt sure what it was, but he wanted to do some bloodwork and check for various things. I was feeling pretty cruddy, my side hurt and my throat was on fire. I called today (about 4 times mind you) and found out.. I HAVE MONO. Yeah. Rediculous, but I do have it. Now .. I have to really take it easy, or I could risk rupturing my spleen, which is enlarged.. and hurts like a mofo. As done my throat and my lymph nodes. Great eh? It could be a month to two months before I'm recovered. Suck fest.

Well Valentine's Day is tomorrow. Even though I have someone to spend it with this year.. it's still a pretty stupid holiday. I mean, if I were a guy, I'd feel pretty left out on the gift end. All women are expecting the gifts - flowers, candy, jewellery..etc.. but what do you get a guy? I have no clue. All I know is I love Karras deeply. I dont need a stupid day to help me reflect on that. I do it every day. Everytime I hear his voice, everytime I say I love you and hear him say it back. Everytime I say, 'Hey baby, I gave you mono!' (JK ) With him in my life right now, I couldn't be more happier. He's one of the things that makes life worth living.
God.. now I need a hug.

Oh yeah, the hair thing. I am a blonde.. more so an orange head. I'm going back on March 1st for some heaving highlights to make me blonder. I like it. Clients have complimented on me about it, since most I see more than one time. So that's positive.

Now it may seem blonde, but it's strawberry blonde, so it's a bit redder than a blonde with some light and ashy tones it in. It'll take getting used to, since I only had black hair.

I havent taken many pictures with the new hair, it looks REALLY red with the camera. *shrug*
